Art Spread is an article I would like present weekly. While I have beef with much of what the Internet has to offer, it’s a free art exhibit, open twenty four hours a day. Throughout the week, I dog-ear pages of the Internet, curate my favorite works and share them with you here. If you’re an artist and you think your work would mingle nicely with this blog, feel free to contact me with your portfolio.
Presenting : Water Works
Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water. If you can’t go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does.

To have faith is to trust yourself to the water. When you swim you don’t grab hold of the water, because if you do you will sink and drown. Instead you relax, and float. – Alan Watts

A mountain is composed of tiny grains of earth. The ocean is made up of tiny drops of water. Even so, life is but an endless series of little details, actions, speeches, and thoughts. And the consequences whether good or bad of even the least of them are far-reaching. – Sivananda
