Dirty Boots 005 : Cache Me If You Can

IMG_0224If you find yourself asking, “What is a geocache?” this zine is for you. The fifth issue of my perzine, Dirty Boots, is a sixteen page publication explaining the history of geocaching and is packed with great tips for rookies. Four pages of color photographs are included in the centerfold. This zine is printed on 25% cotton bond paper and features a sage card stock cover.

Geocaching is one of my favorite recreational activities. It takes a hobby you already enjoy doing (such as hiking or bike riding) and turns it into a game. All you need to get started is a GPS device and a sense of adventure. The inspiration for this zine sprung from an impromptu caching session in North Seattle. If you have never heard of geocaching, this zine will unlock a new level of adventure in your life. There are currently over 2,100,413 caches in the world. Get out there are find your treasure.
